"The Next Illusion" investigates motion graphics in physical space. Based on a study of uses of illusion, "The Next Illusion" creates immersive experiences by combining physical and virtual spaces. Architectonic Cinema is projects that manipulates cinematic images through site specific, sculptural installations. These installations explore embodied perception. Each film uses a visual vocabulary of cinematic trickery to immerse its audience in the illusion of 3-D space. "The Next Illusion" establishes the principles for the design of synthetic cinema with meaningful, unexpected, and poetic experiences.
