Assignment - Design a "retrospective" poster(24"x36") advertising this semester's Design Dialogue series, as if it were in the future.
Concept-My project started from the idea of experiencing virtual experience in the physical space. For my project, a real shower knob was used for the interface to explore the virtual shower experience in physical space. As like a real shower knob, the shower There are two options, realistic and emotional, to experience virtual shower. I used metaphors to visualize the realistic and emotional showers. As user turns the shower knob to the realistic side, money is falling down from the showerhead, and different quotes that tell how to be rich are falling down together in each different level. As user turns the shower knob to the emotional side, the petals of rose are falling down from the showerhead, and different quotes that tell how to fall in love are falling down together in each different level. If the shower knob goes in the middle, both money and the petals of rose are falling down together. By turning a real shower knob in physical space, user can experience virtual shower and can get right level for him/ her.
