A public space and cell phone network
Assignment - Create a proposal for a site-specific experience which exploits location-based media.
Concept - I think that public spaces are significantly affected and redesigned by how people use cellphone in the places. So, I proposed a location-based project that designs a public space by the data of interactions that occur during people are using cell phone. I think not only do this project allow people to redesign a public space, but also it create social interactions between the users. Also, I wanted to use the existing objects in the place. By installing projectors to the street lights, the floor becomes a big public screen for the public.
