Eric Sherman has taught production and the business of film at Art Center College of Design since 1976.He has written four widely used textbooks on filmmaking, including DIRECTING THE FILM and SELLING YOUR FILM. His own work has won the prestigious Peabody Award for Broadcasting (producing and directing the 24-part PBS series, FUTURES WITH JAIME ESCALANTE).He graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts.He is on the Board of Trustees of The American Cinematheque.
