Dr. John Hartzog

Dr. John Hartzog has been teaching in the Graduate program in Film since 1994. His area of specialization is the art of adaptation. He has taught many seminars in adaptation, including Masterworks of Adaptation, Short Fiction into Film, Latin American Literature into Film, and Noir: Fiction and Film.

He is also the Thesis Director for the Broadcast Cinema program.

Dr. Hartzog's primary research interest is narrative technique in fiction and film. He is writing an Online book, Studies in the Art of Adaptation.
