After studying one cube with one light or sunlight, I did two cubes with one light and then two cubes with two lights. Each step gave results that brought questions to lead to my next level of study. Cube shadows showed distortion, optical illusion, elongation and enlargement. Even the same-shaped object cast simple or complicated shadow depending on the angle of light. Additionally different background shapes allowed unexpected and intriguing shadow shapes from the cube. Artificial light makes it possible to control scale, blurriness and darkness of shadows. With sunlight, early morning light casts the most elongated shadows and noon casts the shortest and darkest shadows. Glass materials also showed interesting findings.   While holding a glass in hand, I discovered the reflection from the glass erases the shadows cast by my hand. This finding encouraged the possibility of using different materials.
