importance of experience

“Experience" has become one of the important keywords for many areas such as marketing, interaction design, brand management, architecture, service design, and even in art. Designers, architects and branding companies are focusing their efforts toward creating memorable and engaging experiences.

It is related to what John Dewey said about "Experience" in his well-known book Art as Experience–"If we define art as part of the realm of experience, we can assume that after a viewer looks at a piece, he ‘leaves’ with the art, because the ‘art’ has been experienced"
John Dewey, Art as experience

Designing experience is often related to architectural form. Visitors can create their own experience through narrative messages at a specific site or architectural environment.

These days, new media and technology are used for dynamic approaches to deliver messages in space. Often LED and projection screens are used to create striking and large-scale visual and typographic designs. Also sensors are often used to create an interactive experiences in space. Electronic and digital technologies are the dominant formats when creating architectural experiences.
