On one end of the market the introduction of computation to the world of consumer/prosumer sound manipulation has resulted in a screenful of cold interfaces and technical barriers to entry. On the other end, the use of computation has produced a wide variety of accessible sound games which are less about quality sound, more about enhanced game play, and usually very annoying. This project aims to find a space in between. By utilizing a drawing interface that lends itself quickly to sound exploration, and by linking that exploration to basic elements of sound production, a visually simplified, yet sonically powerful sound tool can be created.
