PASTA PRO 5000-R

Pasta Pro 5000-R is an interface for design fiction, created with the curiosity of the performance value of user experience for spectators.

Combining the mechanics of a regular pasta machine and an extended space for virtual display, Pasta Pro 5000-R is able to "produce" imaginary and fictional objects based on its own logic and sense of reasoning. Users operate the device without fully controlling over it, leaving room for expectation and serendipity. It is also made possible the pleasure of producing massive quantity of things without feeling guilty for wasting up too much natural resources.

The interactivity between the user and the machine form into an improvised performance for design fiction, creating a narrative experience for spectators and non-users approaching the space.
