OnTrack- Mobile Service Proposal for Nokia

OnTrack is a location sharing mobile service that allows the users to reveal their GPS location to other users in their social network, or to anonymous devices nearby.

While sharing locations within a social network, the users see each other as avatar friends in the homepage of their mobile devices, whose status is dynamically changing based on their location, traveling speed and shared calendars, which facilitates more instant and situated communications.

While revealing one's location to anonymous users nearby, one can get live answers to a searched topic they send through text messages or voice mails to nearby users based on the distance they choose, thus turning OnTrack into a search engine powered by the knowledge of people that provides more specific and useful answers.

Rewarding system is introduced to encourage instant knowledge sharing. Answer provider, once proved helpful will get credits they can later use to purchase other kind of services. OnTrack also reposes the role of mobile service providers, who shift from a service center to an intermediary who strive for the connection between people.
