PRELIMINARY RESEARCH Throughout my thesis process, I developed a series of design objects and explorations as a means to gain different levels of insight into my areas of interest. These projects were varied—some took the form of technology interventions created and implemented as research projects. These were more research-oriented and typically based in a type of technological intervention, and addressed and answered more open-ended research questions about social behaviors and interactions with technology and with each other.
