digital abstraction

This project contains a short film, poster and writings. It started with using abstraction as a means of taking an everyday object and obscuring its meaning and form. I picked a ribbon as a starting object and abstracted it with using several media, such as video and After Effects. After creating a short film and poster, I wrote a letter to Piet Mondrian, who is considered the father of abstraction about my thought on digital abstraction.
