This section is a detailed description of the process of human centered design research I have used. It draws examples from all the projects I've worked on to illustrate what I have found to be good methods. Where possible I have put these practices into context with others researchers' approaches. A summary of the outcomes of Women Who Play can be found here. However the full outcome of the study is contained in the book Gamer Portraits.
