There is a specific spot at Will Rogers State park that was the inspiraton for recreating a space that is sacred to me. A majority of the trails in the park are fully exposed to the sun and full of small shrubs and dry grass. There is one spot where there is a huge mass of tall trees, green moss, and colorful leaves. Entering this space suddenly you are in shade, the breeze is cooler, and the sun creates strong shadows. It is my mountain oasis. This project was created to honor one of my favorite beautiful, peaceful places.
