Primarily based on two documentary projects, this DVD Storybook was created to distinguish my portfolio from other artist coming out of art school. The pictures were part of a yearlong photo documentary that followed the nightlife of my friends. The video clips are part of an abstract video painting intended to capture moments on my street. In both cases, my artist instincts told me that the subjects had reached their potential as non-fiction pieces. Combing them together and putting them in a fictional form has given them new life and new meaning.
A preview from the interactive film, the above clip gives the viewer information about their potential host for the evening’s adventure (a la the Dating Game with Chuck Wollery) while explaing how to "play" the game.
