SUPER STUDIO: CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Mr. & Mrs. Virtual
are a happily married couple in their mid-40's living in Denver,
Colorado. They have twin sons, Pat and Pete. Pat, is a senior
in high school who spends most of his days and nights playing
the video game, Quake. Pete, is a freshman at Montana State
University majoring in booze, women, and snowboarding. He
is also an avid Quake player. For a few years now, the Virtuals
have been feeling disconnected to their twins and have been
trying to figure out how to get closer to them. After many
failed attempts, they decided that the best way to connect
with their sons was to commission a game designer to design
them directly into Quake. The game designer matched the Virtual's
real characteristics and placed them into the gaming environment.
Now, not only do their sons notice them, but occasionally,
they call.
