Lost & Found is a site-specific, research-oriented, and experimental interaction exploring social exchange, mythical interface, and communication design.
The project investigates the learning experiences at Art Center College of Design by using the cultural metaphor of Lost & Found. The project posts two questions in public:
What are you missing at Art Center? Why?
What are you learning at Art Center? How?
The questions are intriguing and important to its target audience –students taking summer class at Art Center. One of goals in this project is to not provide extra content or information to the audiences but making them thinking without pushing them too far.
As part of my thesis explorations, this project also forms a cultural reflection of its own community. In the analysis of topics mentioned in the first 159 comments, it appears that the topics of life, insights of Art Center, and personal experiences are the most discussed. From the chart of all topics posted, we see an quick snapshot of the students' learning experience.
