DOMESTIC PROBES
In addition to interviews,
participants will receive three
distinct domestic probes.
The first (far left) is a pack of
24 cards. Each one has a
specific human curiosity in terms
of movement. The back side asks
a question pertaining to an
attribute of the image. Sculpture,
(top right) is a box which contains
wire and pliers. The instruction is
to craft a sculpture symbolic of
the participant's movement.
Reflections (bottom right) is a
journal of fourteen questions,
which take time to answer. The
participant is encouraged to
paste images or draw in the
journal much like a scrapbook.
More detail about the probes
will be addressed after the
interviews in January 2008.
