EVERY MINUTE, EVERY DAY
The challenge was creating a campaign that would communicate to an international audience of policymakers and healthworkers attending the conference, as well as to a more general audience viewing the PSA on television. Coming up with a concept that would be both provocative, yet accessible was our goal.
There were three different projects chosen by the UNFPA that we developed to work together as a single campaign.
Our team's campaign focused on the message:
"Every minute, of everyday, somewhere in the world, a woman dies giving life."
In addition to our PSA, we designed a series of posters that work as individual posters as well as in a sequence. Our other materials includes 1,440 unique button to represent every minute of the day and a bag to be given out at the conference.
