We met at the four corners of the intersection, and the group were cued to make eye contact and visibly make hand gestures to indicate readiness. When the lights would change, all four would follow through their choreography to reach the center, then proceed out of the intersection before the lights changed.
The first performance occurred at 130 pm on November 5th, a Thursday afternoon. The performers didn't have the most successful execution in their choreography, visibly rushing the entire production in half of the time allotted before the lights changed. We met up at a rendezvous point, and I encouraged a second event because of the previous mishaps. After a some drills with the choreography executed in an alley way, we made our way back to the intersection.
The second performance occurred about 20 minutes later, just before 2 pm. This went more smoothly, occurring as planned with all performers leaving the intersection at their appointed times.
The third and fourth performances occurred on Saturday, November 7th, at 1140 am. The choreography went very smoothly, and we were able to add streamers as a prop in the last performance as an added visual prop. The streamers stood in for an extra narrative element to the history of oranges, to represent fire set to the orange groves in history.
