Short and Easy Introduction to Gapioloy

Short and Easy Introduction to Gapiology is a promotional video produced by IG specifically targeted at generating a greater introductory interest for those who aren't yet familiar with Gapiology. This short video outlines the general structure of a gap, which is further explored in IG's published book, 'The Institute of Gapiology: Volume 1'.

The Institute of Gapiology: volume 1

The Institute of Gapiology: Volume 1 is the first edition of a series of books on Gapiology, published by the Institute of Gapiology in 2011. This book examines a closer look at gaps and the roles they play in our lives. In general, the material covered in Volume 1 deals with facts as they have been formulated with the help of founding principles dealing with data, information and science - all of which contribute to the formation of gaps. It describes the placement of gaps as aligned on a continual comparative spectrum as determined by their formulaic structure, type, and patterns for replication. The book pays particular attention to small gaps, as the prevalence of those such as labeled gaps, illusive gaps and ignorable gaps have been found to have a higher correlation with the modern, everyday lives of the average individual.

In the first edition of this series published by the Institute of Gapiology, we have retained consideration for the low levels of prior knowledge of this new field of Gapiology, and the predominantly limited exposure of the casual observer to both philosophical and scientific subjects. The resulting graphics as well as the careful choice of textual presentation regarding the principles of Gapiology have been designed to considerately target the values as may be expressed by a broad range of readers, ranging from high school to professional and graduate school level.
