At the end of the term we gave a little presentation for our department. We explained our process, showed what we have done so far, and where we are right now. This study will continue till the summer 2008 |

For the presentation we drew this Dr. Seuss like “machine” on the wall. It somehow represents us, as a research team and our thinking process. On the left side of the “machine” are all the “probes” – representing the beginning of our research; from ideas, hypothesis, selecting the families, pre-probes, and the final probes returned from the families. The “machine” draws in all that information, analyses and processes it. The little pink and blue notes, read interesting findings and questions that we came upon and suggestions that the families had concerning their experience with the research, probes and the streaming, real-time media. The yellow notes are our super powers (think the impossible). With al this in mind and even more our study is still in process. Right now we are brainstorming and thinking about a new ideas and possibilities on how to conduct our study in the spring of 2008 – symbolized by the cloud (our steaming thinking process) |
