Reflection & Analysis
This research project shows a space that can be used as a new form of representing fictional narratives. We combined shadows of objects with movies played in the space and created virtual spaces, but the user could physically interact within the virtual space. By doing that, we were able to design a new reading experience of a book and allow its users to engage with the story. This project also shows the possibility of old media being transformed into new media.
The process of integrating different types of media made us think about the interdisciplinary role of a media designer.
