The above observations pointed this research towards exploring mixed communication in the intersection of cultural, physical, and virtual spaces. What if an online communication tool, such as a blog, existed in our daily surroundings? How does a designer recreate its form and function for a physically-bound community? How do we deal with privacy issues and conventional politeness among sub groups in direct interaction? Where is the best place to experiment? With all these questions in mind, I picked Art Center College of Design (ACCD) as the group to explore social exchange as design research, narrative updates, and reflective documentation.
