Pechakucha! YA! YA! YA!
Pechakucha for the Future (i.e. "Pechafutcha")
Design Dialogues

instructor: Peter Lunenfeld

For our final assignment, we were asked to project ourselves 5 to years out of the MDP program. As Peter says, "a prospective exercise in retrospective path finding."

We were to think about the issue of ambition: how does a creative person think past the
defaults of design authorship, commercial celebrity, and avant–garde autonomy?

Based on these criteria, we were to present ourselves as if were were speaking as a Design Dialogue guest 5 –7 years down the line. Our presentation was in pechakucha format: 20 slides @ 20 seconds each. Speak quickly and thoroughly or forever hold your piece.

I focused my presentation on a several things:
. sustainability in my design practice
. collaboration with other professionals
. the "Design Farm" as an epicenter for my work
. collaboration with former MDP classmates
. and personal interests (i.e. children and explorations)
