The selection of the photo wall was made form over 3,000 photos, and was focused primarily on each family's representations of and connection with nature. The categories in which the images were grouped range from simple geography, outdoor or indoor space, as well as a more interpretative selection which classifies nature in people's houses under DEAD or ALIVE, and INTERACTIVE over DECORATIVE. However the primary use and purpose of the photo wall is to serve our group as an intimate and detailed refernce to any of our findings. As a presence in the room it can be used to reinforce or debate any point, together with our interviews they are a purely visual reference on which to turn to in our further analysis of our findings. |
