CINEabierto's next project is to acquire the rights to Luis Buñuel's classic: THE EXTERMINATING ANGEL. This film has not been released in DVD due to conflicting rights which are now almost resolved. The film will be digitally restored and the DVD will include many extras such as interviews with cast members. The release of the DVD will also be part of a tribute to Buñuel and mexican cinematographer Gabriel Figueroa.
